  • Michael J. Hogan

    One of Hogan's early goals is to propel UConn into the nation's top 20 public universities.

  • Philip Austin

    Under Austin, UConn saw a drastic improvement in facilities and quality of education.

  • Harry J. Hartley

    Hartley won state support for UCONN 2000 during his tenure. The women's basketball team also won its first national championship.

  • John T. Casteen III

    Under Casteen, UConn was named a research-one university, and Gampel Pavilion was dedicated.

  • John A. DiBiaggio

    DiBiaggio led campaigns to improve public image and fundraising efforts during his tenure.

  • Glenn W. Ferguson

    Ferguson changed UConn's administrative structure, replacing the provost with a vice-presidential cabinet.

  • Homer D. Babbidge Jr.

    Babbidge improved academics and research across the board after Jorgensen's physical expansion was complete.
