Having seen pictures and videos of past years' festivities, Mike Hogan was uneasily anticipating Spring Weekend. Despite admitting that he is "afraid of it", Hogan planned to join in on the massive annual Saturday night gathering at X Lot.

"These are my students," Hogan says, "I want to be out among them."

In an ideal world, he says, students would look out for one another and themselves to stay safe and keep out of trouble. He hopes to help in the expansion of university-sanctioned activities to curb some of the lawlessness Spring Weekend is famous for.
